- Nationality-loss and family-register records, where relevant.
- Any criminal-record, language or other supporting evidence required for the particular route, with the appropriate authentication.
Before applying
Nationality loss, renunciation and residence-card reporting are different procedures. Required records and exceptions depend on the applicant; confirm the route before ordering overseas documents.

Frequently asked questions
Why may a nationality-loss report be needed after acquiring foreign citizenship?
The legal loss of nationality and its reflection in the Korean family register may not occur through the same administrative step. The Korean record often needs to be updated first.
What records are connected when eligibility is based on a parent or grandparent?
Birth, marriage and nationality changes must connect the applicant to the qualifying ancestor without a documentary gap.
Scope and fees
The initial inquiry is free. An office consultation or detailed document review may involve a fee, explained and agreed in advance. Service fees and government fees are quoted separately. The scope of filing support is agreed before you proceed.
